First things first: why laundry?
Laundry touches almost everything we care about — our clothes, our skin, our homes, our routines and even the world around us. We knew there had to be a better way, one with better ingredients and less waste — for people and the planet.
What's behind the name Loop?
Because care is circular. Loop is a reminder that when we put care into small actions, repeated often, we can create lasting change — for ourselves, our homes, and the world we share.
Why are you so focused on plastic?
Because laundry is a part of our everyday routine — and one that's reliant on single-use plastic, even the options that look sustainable like pods & sheets. We wanted to create something truly plastic-free from the inside out, and not just better packaged.
Wait, laundry pods and sheets can contain plastic?
Yep. Many use PVA/PVOH, a water-soluble plastic film. It dissolves in the wash, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it disappears from the environment. We thought there had to be a better way, so we created Loop — a 100% plastic-free laundry detergent made without harmful chemicals.
Can something plant-based actually work?
Absolutely. We formulated Loop with powerful plant-based enzymes to tackle stains and odors in a compact, plastic-free tile designed for everyday performance — no compromises required.
How is there already more laundry?
At this point, the pile-up feels personal for us too. But at least the detergent is better now.
