What is a Loop laundry tile?
Loop is an innovative laundry format that’s similar to a soft, foam-like tile. It is a single-dose format, which means it has a precise amount of detergent in every tile that’s suited for one medium sized load. It dissolves quickly in water without polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) which most pods and sheets use, and without harsh chemicals.
How do I use it?
Place one tile directly into the drum before loading your clothes, then wash as usual. For large or heavily soiled loads, use two tiles. For smaller loads you can cut a Loop tile in half, which gives you more flexibility and stretches the box further.
Does it work in my washing machine?
Yes. Loop tiles are compatible with all washing machine types — front-loaders, top-loaders, and HE washers.
What makes Loop laundry tiles different than pods & sheets?
Loop tiles are 100% plastic-free while laundry pods & sheets contain polyvinyl alcohol (PVA / PVOH), a petroleum-based plastic film - which dissolves in water, but persists in our waterways and environment.
Is Loop actually plastic-free?
It’s true! Our innovative laundry tiles are 100% plastic-free, that includes our packaging as well as our product. While conventional laundry sheets & pods don’t require a plastic jug, they still rely on hidden plastics like PVA, a petroleum-based dissolvable plastic.
I have sensitive skin - can I still use Loop?
We believe what’s inside is just as important as what’s not - and that includes harsh chemicals. Loop's formula is pH neutral and free of optical brighteners, phosphates, chlorine bleach, and the preservatives — MI and MCI — most commonly linked to skin irritation and contact dermatitis. Instead of harsh chemicals, Loop is made with gentle, plant-based ingredients and is suitable for sensitive skin.
We also offer a Free & Clear option that has no scent, perfume or dyes, making it a great option for anyone with sensitive skin.
What are the scent options?
There are three: Fresh Linen, Amber Woods, and Free & Clear. Fresh Linen has top notes of lemon and anemone, a heart of lavender and sage, and a base of ambergris and musk. Amber Woods has a fruity top note, a heart of jasmine and rose, and a grassy base. Free & Clear is completely unscented — no fragrance, no dyes, just the formula.
All fragrances used in Loop are developed to meet strict global safety standards and are compliant with IFRA (the International Fragrance Association), ensuring they are gentle, effective, and safe for everyday wear.
Is Loop cruelty-free?
Yes. Loop does not test on animals, and there are no animal-derived ingredients in the product.
How should I store Loop tiles?
We recommend you keep Loop stored in a cool, dry place that is out of reach of children and pets. Avoid exposing Loop laundry tiles to water, moisture and extreme hot or cold temperatures.
